About
I am a qualified Hijama (cupping) practitioner with extensive experience in healthcare. My journey with Hijama began nearly ten years ago when I sought a natural treatment for a persistent stomach condition that conventional medicine could not resolve. After experiencing remarkable results firsthand, I was inspired to help others—starting with friends and family—and now, I offer this incredible therapy to anyone who can benefit from it.
In addition to my Hijama qualification, I hold a PhD in Nursing and have many years of experience as a nurse. My medical background ensures that I adhere to the highest standards of hygiene and infection control while also being fully competent in managing emergencies, ensuring your safety at all times.
What is Hijama (Cupping Therapy)?
Hijama is a traditional therapeutic practice that involves placing special cups on targeted areas of the body—commonly the back, abdomen, or legs—to create a negative pressure (vacuum effect). This suction stimulates circulation, encourages detoxification, and supports the body’s natural healing process.
There are two main types of cupping:
Dry Cupping – Creates suction to stimulate blood flow without making incisions.
Wet Cupping (Hijama) – Involves making small, superficial incisions after initial suction, allowing impure blood to be drawn out, removing toxins, and promoting healing.
The process stimulates the immune system, improves organ function, and helps relieve pain and inflammation. It has been used for centuries in various cultures for its numerous health benefits.
The Islamic Perspective on Hijama
Hijama holds significant importance in Islamic tradition and is recognized as a highly recommended Sunnah practice. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) personally underwent Hijama for ailments such as migraines and joint pain and encouraged his followers to use it for healing.
📜 Authentic Hadiths on Hijama:
🔹 "Cupping (Hijama) is the best of your remedies." – (Bukhari 5263, Muslim 2952)
🔹 "Indeed, in cupping (Hijama), there is a cure." – (Saheeh Muslim 5706)
🔹 "Healing is in three things: in the incision of the cupper (Hijama), in drinking honey, and in cauterization, but I forbid my Ummah from cauterization." – (Bukhari 5681, Ibn Majah 3491)
🔹 The angels also recommended Hijama to the Prophet (PBUH) during the Night Journey (Isra and Mi’raj), advising him to encourage his Ummah (nation) to practice it. – (Saheeh Sunan Tirmidhi 3479)
